The science is in

The calorie-rich, nutrient-poor processed foods along with the fat/cholesterol laden animal products that we eat are making us sick and overweight. Diet is directly related to heart disease, diabetes, obesity, and in many cases, cancer. A whole food, plant-based diet is your ticket to health. But where to begin?

Let’s face it, none of us have time to devote hours to cooking.

Our classes are designed to introduce you to quick, easy meals that are delicious and nutritious. You don’t have to be a chef. Heck, you don’t even have to be a cook. We’ll take away the mystery and show you what to cook and how to cook it. And you’ll have fun while you learn. We’ll even take you shopping to show you what products to put in your basket and on your table.

“I don’t understand why asking people to eat a well-balanced vegetarian diet is considered drastic, while it is medically conservative to cut people open.”

Dr. Dean Ornish, The Spectrum
